One current food trend Ciao Pappy could jump on is incorporating more functional ingredients into their sauces. For example, many people are trying to increase the amount of nutrient dense foods they consume. Ciao Pappy could introduce a vegetarian sauce, filled with nutrient dense vegetables and herbs. Moreover, Ciao Pappy could introduce a meat sauce that uses nutrient dense ingredients and grass fed beef to connect with consumers wanting to add protein and additional nutrients into their dish or diet. These two additional sauces would allow Ciao Pappy to reach a broader consumer base and ultimately increase sales.

Launching a new flavor through social media and email marketing is great way to generate excitement and engage with consumers. In order to do so successfully, there are a few steps that would need to be taken. First, the target audience/consumer as well as specific goals would need to be identified. Then, to build anticipation within the target audience, the product should be teased and consumers should be encouraged to engage with the deliverables. Deliverables should consist of engaging images and videos that showcase the new flavor. Next, these deliverables should be emailed and regularly posted across social media platforms that align with the identified target audience and utilize interactive features like stories and reels. It is important to engage with the audience by responding to comments and messages. Additionally, partnering with influencers or micro-influencers who align with the brand can create content that showcases the new flavor. These individuals, or Ciao Pappy, can run contests/giveaways where the new flavor is given out as the prize. There should be a landing page on the website with detailed information about the new flavor, highlighting its ingredients and the brands values. Lastly, the performance of social media posts as well as the emails should be monitored with analytical tools to determine what is most effective.
