Can you share an example of a design that significantly improved a product's user experience?
When Duolingo redesigned its progress tracking, it shifted from a simple list of completed lessons to a gamified “learning path” with visuals and milestones. This change made learning feel less like checking boxes and more like progressing on a journey, which kept users motivated. The creative design added playful animations and streak counters, but crucially, it didn’t obscure the functionality of the user. By combining motivation psychology with clear usability, Duolingo boosted both engagement and daily active use.

How do you approach balancing creativity with user functionality in design?
Creativity showcases the personality and brand identity that differentiate the company, while user functionality is essential for users to achieve what they have come for. To achieve this balance, I would set boundaries for the creativity and layer it onto the usability, and not over it. This process would involve iterative feedback from the managers and selected users. Therefore, the end result should be sustainable in the long term, and the creativity would make the user experience memorable while the functionality ensures the productivity of the user.

What experience do you have using salesforce?
I have a foundational understanding of Salesforce from self-learning and academic projects. I’ve explored its CRM functionalities, including lead management, contact tracking, and reporting tools. While I haven’t used it extensively in a professional setting, I’m a quick learner and confident in my ability to adapt to the platform efficiently. I'm eager to apply and expand my knowledge in a hands-on sales environment.
