Interview Questions
Lemonfête
Social Media & Marketing Assistant

What strategies would you use to keep our social media content fresh and exciting?
To keep Lemonfête’s social media content fresh and exciting, I’d mix creativity with community. First, I’d make sure every post reflects the brand’s fun, celebratory energy — bright visuals, real people enjoying the product, and moments that feel spontaneous rather than staged. I’d stay on top of trends that fit naturally with Lemonfête’s vibe, like seasonal drinks, LA pop-up events, or fun sound trends on TikTok and Instagram Reels. I’d also collaborate with local creators and small businesses around Los Angeles to keep the content rooted in the community. Another big focus would be storytelling — showing real reactions from product sampling, behind-the-scenes moments, and quick, authentic clips that highlight how Lemonfête fits into everyday celebrations. Mixing planned content with genuine, in-the-moment posts keeps the feed feeling alive and relatable. Overall, my strategy would be to balance trend-driven ideas with local, human-centered content that people actually want to engage with and share.

How have you built a social media presence in the Past?
While I don’t have a large personal following yet, I’ve spent a lot of time learning how social media communities grow and what makes content really connect with people. I understand how to create posts that feel genuine, reflect a brand’s personality, and inspire engagement through storytelling, short videos, and local trends. If I were managing Lemonfête’s social presence, I’d focus on building a fun and refreshing voice that matches the brand’s energy—something bright, local, and full of celebration. I’d connect with LA creators, cafés, and community events, sharing real and spontaneous moments that make people want to try the product for themselves. I’m also comfortable being involved in the field: sampling the product, talking to people, getting their feedback, and turning those experiences into authentic content that shows how people truly enjoy Lemonfête. My goal wouldn’t just be to gain followers, but to build a genuine local community that feels connected to the brand.

What makes a TikTok video go viral in your opinion?
Honestly, I think a TikTok video goes viral when it feels real. It’s less about perfect lighting or editing and more about capturing a moment that people instantly connect with whether that’s something funny, relatable, emotional, or completely unexpected. Timing plays a role too. If your video taps into a trend right as it’s taking off, uses the right sound, or hits a shared feeling everyone’s having, it can spread fast. But even beyond that, people can sense authenticity. When someone’s just being themselves laughing for real, showing something unfiltered, or telling a story that feels true it grabs attention in a sea of polished content. So in my opinion, virality isn’t something you can fully plan. It’s a mix of timing, authenticity, and a little bit of luck. The videos that blow up usually feel effortless even if there’s a lot of thought behind them.
