This role includes reaching out to local restaurants and student leaders. How would you handle that outreach each week?
I’d treat outreach as a simple weekly system. Each week I’d make a short target list of local restaurants and student leaders (Greek life, wellness clubs, business orgs, etc.) and block off specific time to contact them. For restaurants, I’d send quick, personalized messages explaining that I’m an NYU student ambassador, why their spot is a good fit, and a simple collab idea (feature in content, small student promo, or event). For student leaders, I’d use Instagram/GroupMe/email and frame it around value for their group, easy event ideas, food for meetings, or co-branded moments. I’d track everything in a simple sheet so I’m always either reaching out to new people or following up, like I already do for the health-tech startup and restaurant partnerships I work on now.

How would you promote a cause on your campus and get students to pay attention?
I’ve learned that on a campus like NYU, the only way to get students to care about a cause is to make it feel relevant, social, and easy to act on, not like homework. First, I’d start with the communities I’m already part of: Delta Phi Epsilon, my health-tech startup network, and my broader NYU friend groups. I’d frame the cause in a way that speaks directly to them (for example, if it’s about food insecurity or healthier eating, I’d tie it to real student pain points: dining hall options, grocery costs, long class days, mental health, etc.). I’d get a few “champions” in each group onboard first so it isn’t just me talking about it, it feels like something our circle is doing together. Then I’d combine IRL touchpoints + social content: Host something small but appealing (a study night, snack table, or panel) where the cause is integrated into the experience, not the entire agenda. Finally, I’d keep the messaging positive and solution-focused, showing exactly how their participation makes a difference (X meals funded, X students reached, etc.), and share updates after the fact so people feel like what they did mattered. On a busy campus, if the cause feels social, visual, and actionable, students actually pay attention.

Are you involved in any campus organizations and if so, what charity do you support?
I’m involved in Delta Phi Epsilon at NYU, which is a big part of my campus life and community. Outside of school, I’m also very involved with a nonprofit my family supports called Gently Hugged, which provides clothing and essential items to babies in need in San Diego County. Through Gently Hugged, I’m especially passionate about maternal and child health, early-life nutrition, and basic needs access, making sure babies born into low-income families have a safe, supported start. That focus on real, everyday wellbeing is a big part of why I’m drawn to brands like Goodbite that make healthier choices more accessible.
