I spent the end of 2022 working on a scientific research paper through a passion-project organization. In the time between gathering samples and writing the actual paper, most of the work consisted of sorting through data, mostly numbers, ranging from the mass of the samples to data trends found in MatLab. Much of the data was similar, so it was important that I be able to see every little difference to determine if the information was significant, and required strong organizational skills when sifting through the numbers. Attention to detail is what allowed me to find trends in the data, and to determine if the data was significant enough for the paper or not.
