What experience do you have editing video?
Plenty. Ever since I was a freshman in high school, which was 9 years ago for me, I was in radio and tv, though we only focused on film. We had a weekly broadcast for the school and I was a main editor and script writer for that. We had news, commercials, skits, infomercials and more and I've edited at least one of everything we aired.
I had planned to get a degree in film and even though it fell through, I have never stopped editing videos. I've done a few local commercials, though I do not think they compare to my skills now, I edit my own videos for my own content and I am currently working on a few videos for other creators, so I have plenty of varied experience in editing videos.

How do you ensure videos remain engaging and concise?
A few different ways! For engagement, I like to look at trends, topics, effects and other things that are popular. I find a strong hook within videos or create one and I keep videos on the shorter side, due to most people having a shorter attention span. I eliminate as much filler as possible.

What video editing tools do you prefer for creating social media clips?
I am waiting for my work to reinstate Adobe Premiere Pro, but I am looking at other software and currently learning both OpenShot and DaVinci Resolve. I also have much experience with CapCut, but haven't used it in a while.
