Recipes stand out is when it’s a homemade family recipe. One that has been passed down generations. It’s like a window into a family and their community, so you know there is love made with the meal! I also find recipes that are easy to make in small batches stand out. As someone who lives alone finding exact measurements for a single serving knowing I don’t want leftovers is super helpful at times.

As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder I try to be honest about my struggles online. I hope by sharing my journey reconnecting with food in a healthy and honest way it will appeal to others struggling. I think it’s important to share, so others don’t feel alone and to prove recovery is possible and worth it!
