Cohere | The Local Retail Platform

Campus BD Lead

Cohere | The Local Retail Platform Profile Image

If you are trying to get feedback on your project from local businesses, what are some low cost ways you would use, to approach these people quickly?

When seeking feedback from local businesses for my project on a limited budget, I would employ several low-cost strategies to ensure a swift and efficient approach. Firstly, I would initiate email outreach, meticulously compiling a list of local businesses' email addresses and crafting personalized messages that highlight my project's objectives and kindly request their feedback. Secondly, leveraging the power of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook, I would engage with local businesses by following their pages, actively participating in discussions, and tactfully initiating direct messages to introduce my project and kindly request their valuable feedback. Moreover, I would actively involve myself in local business forums and groups, contributing relevant insights and initiating discussions surrounding my project. This would allow me to seek feedback from fellow business owners and professionals within the community, while also establishing meaningful connections. Attending local networking events, trade shows, and business conferences would be another avenue for gathering feedback efficiently. I would proactively introduce my project to business owners and professionals, exchanging contact information, and scheduling follow-up discussions or meetings to obtain their valuable insights. Additionally, I would explore collaborative partnerships with businesses that share a similar target audience or goals. By reaching out to them and proposing mutually beneficial collaborations, I would not only gather feedback on my project but also provide value to the other party. To tap into local businesses that may not be easily reachable online, I would utilize local business directories. By identifying relevant businesses, I would either call them or visit them in person, introducing my project and humbly requesting their feedback. Lastly, I would design concise online surveys using free survey tools like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey. By sharing the survey link through various communication channels such as email and social media, I would make it convenient for local businesses to provide feedback, ensuring a high response rate. Throughout these approaches, I would emphasize the benefits of their valuable input and demonstrate my respect for their time. By highlighting how their feedback will directly shape the development of my project or potentially provide exposure to a wider audience, I would maximize their engagement and enthusiasm to contribute.

Please share any relevant social media management experience and how you defined success in the role.

During my role as a R&D Lab Administrator I had to manage and design the presentation of our new project to the board of executives at GS1. The presentation went extremely well and the project was well received, because during the creation of the presentation I was diligent in managing my coworkers so they could all work together cohesively. I also did a great job in creating the skeleton for them to work upon and polishing their work once they were done. I'm great at designing and was able to use those skills to make the work as easy as possible for my coworkers.
