How do you stay up-to-date with current social media trends and algorithms to optimize content engagement?

I stay updated on social media trends by following industry experts and platforms like Social Media Examiner, which helps me understand the latest changes and trends. I also love learning from influencers and creators to see what’s working for them. I make sure to check out platform updates through blogs or newsletters, and I’m always testing my own content. I pay close attention to engagement metrics and adjust as needed to make sure my content resonates with the audience.

If you were faced with low engagement at an event, how would you turn things around to make it successful?

If I were faced with low engagement at an event, I’d take immediate action by leveraging my network and the campus environment. First, I’d call friends and peers who are active on social media or involved in campus organizations to help spread the word and bring in more attendees. A personal invitation can make a big difference in driving traffic. Next, I’d take the event to high-traffic locations on campus, like the entrance of the student center or near popular study spots. I’d set up a mobile sampling station or engage passersby with a quick pitch about JOVA’s benefits, offering free samples or exclusive discounts to draw them in. I’d also boost real-time engagement by encouraging students to take photos, share their experience on social media, and tag the brand or use a specific event hashtag. Offering small incentives, like free smoothies or a chance to win a gift card, could increase interest and create a buzz. By being adaptable and engaging with students where they already are, I’d turn the event into a success and build momentum for future outreach efforts.

How would you creatively promote JOVA on your campus? Share an idea for a sampling event or social campaign.

To promote JOVA at Harvard, I would host a "Smoothie & Study Break" event at a high-traffic spot like the Science Center Plaza or near the Lamont Library, both of which are popular spots where students take quick breaks between classes. The event would offer free samples of JOVA’s smoothies, and I’d partner with student organizations such as the Harvard College Women’s Health Initiative or the Harvard Fitness Club to promote it and attract a health-conscious crowd. Alongside the sampling, I’d create interactive content for social media, like Instagram Reels showing the ease of making JOVA smoothies between study sessions. Harvard students love acai bowls and smoothies, so I’d post creative recipe videos highlighting JOVA’s versatility with fun, trendy captions like “Fuel your brain during finals week with JOVA – 22g of protein and 10g of fiber in every smoothie!”Additionally, I’d tap into Harvard’s wellness community by promoting JOVA as a healthy, quick option for busy students. I’d engage with fitness and health influencers on campus, creating a campus-wide “Smoothie Challenge” where students share their own JOVA smoothie recipes or flavor combos, using my affiliate code for discounts and entering a giveaway. This campaign would encourage organic engagement while driving sales through my unique affiliate link.
