Product Testing

What are important considerations for you when reviewing a product?
If I were to test a product, the first thing I would look out for is if it sticks to its selling point. For example, if I buy a hair mask that "reduces frizz and enhance shine and moisture" , those results would be what I'd look for after using the product.
Next would be the overall essence of the product like its design, its convenience, and its utility.
Another important note is that, personally, the price would not be really relevant to me because I like trying out new things and that comes with its advantages and risks. I wouldn't splurge over trying something new also, but a high cost may sometimes mean better methods, materials, processes, etc., in developing the product ; whereas if it is "more affordable" than it's supposed to be, I would be a bit skeptical of the product's quality.
