What are three things you learned in the last three days?
My apartment recently just got a bunch of water damage from a fire directly above us. One thing I've learned from this is an extreme amount of patience. My other roommates and I have had to be placed in a different apartment while repairs are being done to our unit, and have been living there for over a week.
Also out of this, I have learned to find the positives in such a negative situation. I am still able to live in a fully furnished apartment with working appliances, close to my campus, and stay with all of my roommates.
I started taking yoga, and since taking a class today actually, I've learned that deep breathing and focusing on intentions for the class are extremely calming and help me to reconnect with my body and mind.
