firstly the app has to align with my interest and needs, If my purpose is to build personal branding and the app aligns with my purpose , only then I use the app. secondly the apps' security and privacy . option to personalize the cookies that a app will use is important to me along with the option to not allow app to track my data. if app doesn't allow those options I immediately uninstall the app . Another important aspect for me is the quality of content and community on the app, I analyze wether the community is positive, negative , competitive.
