Share a time that you helped someone over the age of 60 that you're not related to.

During my first internship, I had to make a phone call to help an older person. It was for a non-profit in Canada that assists seniors with tech issues. When I first called, no one answered, so I tried again. This time, the older lady on the other end sounded really relieved. My job was to guide her through getting an ebook from the Los Angeles Public Library. Here's the tricky part: she didn't know how to use the keyboard on her IPad. So, we tackled it together.Even with her arthritis making things tough, we worked through wrong symbols and letters.After some teamwork, we managed to navigate her to the ebook section. But there was a hiccup – she couldn't check out the book she wanted. So, we shifted gears and had a chat about what else she was interested in finding.We eventually secured a book she wanted and scheduled her next appointment to walk through renting other books, returning the digital one, and the entire process.
