This past summer, I participated in an engineering internship over at Stanford Healthcare in Palo Alto, working on the hospital systems within the facilities engineering department.

This coincided with my renewed interest in social media content creation, so I recorded my "day-in-the-life" videos and various other itnernship and lifestyle adjacent clips to my instagram and tiktok, garnering thousands of views and likes. I've been continuing this content creation in my half-marathon training for the Berkeley Half Marathon, as well as any trips and excursions that I go on.

My performance and engagement on social media led to a film student club on the UC Berkeley campus to reach out to me if I wanted to play a role in a project that they were performing, which I said yes to.

By no longer holding myself back and allowing myself to be fully myself, has allowed me to get opportunities that I would otherwise not have gotten. I finally learned that a life lived stifled is no life at all.

Being a third-year student at the sprawling college campus of UC Berkeley, I am tapped into the social media and pop culture trends of Gen Z both on campus--via clubs, campus events, and more--as well as off-campus, through my friends instagram, tiktok, and more.

Everyone here is connected one way or the other. I stay connected via my consumption of contemporary media, shows, and music, such as Stranger Things and Sabrina Carpenter, which I highly enjoy and keeps me in the loop with a lot of people.

Of course, I still have my limitations., When there are certain trends I don't understand (Like the 67 internet meme), I look into how it developed and acquire an understanding of it.

Yes! I speak fluent english. I was born in Berkeley, CA, and I am currently a third-year engineering student at UC Berkeley.

I am very much comfortable in my command of the english language, both in writing and in conversation, possessing a strong grasp of when to be casual, formal, and everything in between.
