How do you stay up to date with social media trends?

I stay up to date since I am actually engaged on social media every day, so I naturally notice trends early. I'm constantly watching which formats are popular: sound transitions, "get ready with me" styles, and the types of product photos that people save and share. In addition, I organize it as follows: Watching the Explore/For You pages intentionally (rather than just skimming) to discover patterns. Paying attention to what beauty creators repeat week to week.Checking what's happening on TikTok sounds and Instagram Reels, and how brands are utilizing them.Saving ideas and fast testing what suits the brand voice to ensure I'm not late to the trend. So I'm always online, but I'm also paying attention strategically.

Are you comfortable responding quickly and adapting to changing priorities?

Yes. When priorities change, I'm ready to respond quickly and adapt. Things fluctuate quickly in this position: locations, inventory, weather, school events, and even online trends can all impact the strategy. I maintain flexibility by keeping a clear checklist of the day's objectives, having a couple of "backup" activation options on hand (such as a rapid sampling station vs. a roaming strategy), and adapting in real time based on what works. I also convey updates early on, so that if anything changes, the team isn't caught off unawares; we're all on the same page and moving forward.
