What are some of your favorite brands on social media and why?
Duolingo is definitely one of my favorite brands online. Their TikTok is hilarious and unpredictable, often featuring their mascot in meme-inspired skits. They keep up with trends in a playful, non-traditional way, which makes them memorable and viral. Wendy's is also a top brand on my list for it's Wendy’s witty and sometimes messy Twitter roasts. They engage with followers in a playful, irreverent way, often poking fun at competitors and responding to memes. Lastly, I know that it's pretty obvious however Dr. Miami's accounts on social media bring a smile to my face. Whether it's him making random disses to drake or him posting an unserious skit, I thoroughly enjoy scrolling on his page.

Can you provide an example of a successful beauty or social media campaign you love, and believe we can emulate?
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez is a great example of a brand that stays on trends effectively. They frequently create TikToks and Reels that tap into popular sounds, challenges, and trending topics in beauty, while staying true to their message of self-acceptance. They also use approachable, "get ready with me" videos and tutorials featuring both influencers and everyday users, making the content feel relatable and inclusive. This approach helps them maintain authenticity while reaching a broad audience, which is something we can replicate to build connection and engagement with our audience.

How would you approach creating engaging tiktok and IG reels to authentically connect with and reach a broader audience?
My approach would be to participate in relatable and funny trends. Following trends on TikTok and IG Reels boosts reach because the algorithm often favors content that aligns with current popular sounds, challenges, or formats. Trends create a sense of familiarity, so viewers are more likely to stop and watch content that feels timely and relevant. By creatively adapting trends to match your message, you can engage a broader audience while showing your in touch with what’s current, making the content feel fresh and relatable.
