What kind of feedback is most helpful to improve a product?
The most helpful feedback to improve a product is feedback that is clear, specific, and actionable. I focus on feedback that explains exactly what the issue is, when it happens, and how it affects the user. This kind of detail makes it easier to identify patterns, prioritize fixes, and make meaningful improvements. I also find feedback most valuable when it is based on real user behavior and use cases, not just opinions. Balanced feedback that highlights both strengths and areas for improvement is especially helpful because it shows what should be maintained while guiding what needs to be changed to improve the overall product experience.

How do you approach testing a product for quality?
approach product quality testing by first making sure I fully understand the product’s purpose, the target user, and the standards it needs to meet. I start by reviewing the requirements and expectations so I know exactly what “quality” looks like for that product. From there, I test the product from both a functional and user perspective. I check that all features work as intended, look for inconsistencies or defects, and pay close attention to usability, reliability, and performance. I also try to think like the end user by testing real-world scenarios and edge cases to see how the product holds up. Finally, I document my findings clearly, communicate any issues with the team, and retest after fixes are made to ensure improvements were successful. My goal is to make sure the final product is not only technically sound but also delivers a smooth, high-quality experience for the user.

what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
would make sampling fun and interactive by creating themed pop-up stations both on and off campus. For example, I could set up a “ColourPop Glam Booth” where students can try products, take selfies, and share their looks on social media with a branded hashtag. I’d also partner with student organizations, dorm events, and campus activities to bring the samples directly to where students already are, making it easy, exciting, and memorable to try ColourPop products.
