If your one goal was to go viral starting from a net-new account promoting h\FC what would your strategy be?
If my one goal was to go viral from a brand new account promoting HFC, I’d start by identifying a viral TikTok trend or audio that could be cleverly adapted to campus life. Then I’d create short, high-quality videos that showcase relatable student moments, like “first week on campus,” “cafeteria food expectations vs. reality,” or “how it feels to find your friend in a huge class”, using humor, fast cuts, and on-screen text. I’d post consistently, engage with comments, and collaborate with real students to boost authenticity. Timing would be key, I’d aim to post during high-traffic periods like the first week of classes or finals. Finally, I’d use relevant hashtags (#collegecheck, #campuslife, #HFCTok) and geotags to help push the content locally and tap into college TikTok culture. The goal would be to make HFC feel relatable, funny, and scroll-stopping—because that’s what gets shared.

What kind of content do you think H\FC should be making? Feel free to link examples/creators.
HFC should focus on creating social media content that feels authentic, student-driven, and community-focused. Content like “day in the life” videos, behind-the-scenes of campus events, and quick student tips would help humanize the college and make it relatable to both current and prospective students. Engaging with trends on TikTok or Instagram Reels, especially when they’re tied to the HFC experience, can increase reach and show that the college understands how students communicate today. Highlighting student voices, clubs, and alumni success stories would also help build pride and connection. A great example of this kind of content is what you see from creators like @lifeatpurdue or @berkeleytime, who show off their schools through real student perspectives and humor.
