I think creators like Ryan Trahan and brands like Duolingo have really strong content right now because they balance entertainment, storytelling, and authenticity really well. Their content feels engaging and natural while still being highly strategic and shareable.

What are your go-to editing techniques to make a video more engaging?
My go-to techniques are strong hooks, fast-paced cuts, dynamic captions, smooth transitions, sound design, and pattern interrupts to keep attention. I also focus on storytelling and pacing so the content feels natural and engaging instead of overly edited.

What's an editing style you think is overused?
I think the “Ali Abdaal-style” editing is becoming overused, especially in finance and productivity content. The constant zooms, subtitles, sound effects, and fast cuts can feel repetitive now, so I prefer adapting trends while still keeping content original and authentic.
