Inner Journey: Mental Clarity
Campus Brand Ambassador

What are you involved with on campus that would be relevant to this position?
I’m actively involved in several leadership roles on campus that allow me to engage with a wide range of students. I serve as the 1st Attendant to the 89th Miss Maroon & White Royal Court, am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and work as a Resident Advisor. I’m also the President of the AUC Modeling Agency at Spelman & Morehouse, where we produce one of the largest Homecoming events, drawing over 4,000 attendees. These roles have strengthened my ability to lead, promote events, and connect authentically with large and diverse audiences.

Have you ever struggled to communicate something important to someone close to you?
Yes, I have. There was a time when I wanted to grow within myself, but communicating that need wasn’t easy. It took support and encouragement from the people around me to help me open up and move through that journey, which taught me how important honest communication and community really are.

Why are you interested in working with Inner Journey?
I’m interested in working with Inner Journey because mental health is something I genuinely care about, especially as a college student. I’ve personally struggled with my own mental health, so I know how important it is to encourage students to prioritize it, even before they feel like they “need” to. I love that Inner Journey promotes self-reflection and wellness in a realistic, approachable way, and sharing that message with my campus would feel very authentic to me.
