Please review at our IG feed and let us know what you think in a few sentences. @happywaxmelts
Well, this is my review based on your Instagram feed:
The feed is a vibrant and engaging showcase of the brand identity. The use of bright, playful visuals featuring their signature bear-shaped wax melts creates an inviting atmosphere that aligns well with your fun and approachable brand persona. The content is consistently aligned with the product offerings, highlighting various scents and seasonal collections through aesthetically pleasing imagery. The captions are concise and informative, often incorporating playful language that resonates with your target audience. The inclusion of user-generated content and customer testimonials adds authenticity and fosters a sense of community among followers.
However, there is room for improvement in terms of content variety. While the feed effectively showcases products, incorporating more behind-the-scenes content, such as the production process or team introductions, could humanize the brand further and deepen the connection with the audience. To build a deeper connection with followers, consider sharing more behind-the-scenes content, like the wax-making process or team moments. This adds a personal touch and makes the brand feel more authentic. Encourage user-generated content (UGC) by running contests or giveaways, where customers share their “best melt moment.” Reposting UGC helps engage your audience and builds trust. Seasonal campaigns featuring limited-edition scents could also keep the content fresh and relevant. For example, highlight holiday scents and create themed posts to generate excitement. Collaborating with influencers in wellness or lifestyle spaces can expand your reach, while interactive Instagram Stories (like polls or quizzes) will foster daily engagement and make followers feel involved. Lastly, sharing your brand’s story and featuring customer testimonials adds authenticity and social proof, helping to build a loyal community.
Overall, the feed effectively communicates your brand values and engages the audience through visually appealing and consistent content.

Which 2 companies do you think are doing a great job engaging their audience?
1. Glossier
Glossier has mastered community-driven engagement. They’ve built a loyal fanbase by creating a space where their customers feel heard and valued. They leverage user-generated content (UGC) on platforms like Instagram, where customers share their personal experiences with the products. Glossier encourages this by reposting UGC, giving followers a sense of ownership in the brand. They also regularly interact with their audience through comments, polls and Instagram stories, creating a personal connection. Their approach to product launches is also incredibly community-focused, often involving their followers in the development process through surveys or sneak peeks.
2. Nike
Nike is a powerhouse when it comes to creating emotional connections with their audience. They do this through storytelling, using social media to highlight athletes, everyday people and inspiring stories. Their campaigns, like #JustDoIt, invite followers to share their own experiences, sparking a sense of inclusivity and empowerment. Nike's engagement is also driven by collaborations with influencers and athletes and they’ve mastered creating viral moments that resonate emotionally with their followers. They continuously innovate with interactive features like custom sneakers or fitness challenges, always keeping their community actively involved.
Both brands excel by making their audience feel like part of a larger community, creating not just customers, but brand advocates.

Product Review

Can you provide an example of a time when your feedback led to product improvement?
While testing a wellness supplement for a small health brand, I noticed that although the product was effective, the instructions on the packaging were confusing. They didn’t clearly explain how often it should be taken for best results. I shared detailed feedback, explaining how unclear directions could impact user confidence and product trust. Based on my suggestions, the brand updated their packaging to include a simple, easy-to-follow usage guide and also added a quick "how-to" graphic. After the update, customer satisfaction improved and the brand even mentioned that they saw fewer customer service questions related to product use. This experience taught me that honest, specific feedback, especially about the full user experience, can make a real difference, not just for the product itself but for the brand's relationship with its customers.
