What is the biggest challenge you've faced when learning a new language?
As a foreign language learner, it can be difficult to learn a new language while surrounded by your native tongue. Simulating immersion has been one of my biggest challenges, as you must craft a synthetic experience for yourself and be disciplined to keep up with it.

What's one way that you would create community and excitement around language learning as a Howie Ambassador?
A great degree of passion for language learning comes from the understanding of the opportunities and connections that a new language provides. I would focus on promoting the tangibility of a new language as a goal, utilize my connections within the modern languages, nursing, and athletic departments, and focus marketing on the positive lifestyle changes that result from language acquisition.
