Can you share a time when your communication skills have helped you successfully engage with a community?
My basic spanish skills helped me communicate with a wan at a local grocery store, I couldn’t fully understand what she said but I comprehended some of it and helped her find the item she was looking for, even though I didn’t work there. And knowing simple words like yes, thank you, and you’re welcome really helped.

How would you approach promoting language learning opportunities to a diverse audience?
I would propose language learning opportunities to a diverse audience by demonstrating how I would use the program, as a college student. That’s a diverse crowd where language is something to help connect different cultures, and most want to learn to be able to study abroad. I would explain how learning more than one language can benefit you professionally and personally, and just for your simple leisure.
