I’ve found that soft recommendations and real-life demonstrations convert better than hard selling because it feels more like a friend sharing a favorite find.

ince a lot of my current TikTok content already features my dorm life and daily routines, I’d naturally incorporate ScentMatch wax melts into cozy, lifestyle-based videos that show how they upgrade a small space. I’d create content like dorm reset routines, study nights, and “get ready with me” videos where I turn on the wax warmer to make my room smell amazing. This helps viewers see how easy they are to use and how quickly they elevate the vibe of a room without candles or flames, which is perfect for dorm living. To make it more interactive and fun, I’d also film social content like knocking on friends’ dorm doors and having them smell different scents and rate their favorites on camera. Getting their genuine reactions and letting them keep their favorite scent makes it feel authentic and creates natural word-of-mouth excitement. Overall, I’d focus on making the product feel like a must-have dorm essential and giftable item rather than just a fragrance product.
