If a texting app could auto translate would it be enough for you to switch?
No because my parents wouldnt use that app just for translation purposes. They will continue to type chinese and I'll have to figure it out!

Can you share a funny or awkward translation moment you've experienced?
A lot of the food translations are quite direct in English which doesn't exactly translate well! For example, my mom asked if my friends and I wanted to eat clay baked chicken for dinner but the direct translation of clay baked chicken in Chinese to English is homeless chicken! When i explained that to my friend, she was very confused what it could be until we had to ask my mom for more details on exactly that we were eating!
