Three important aspects to consider when adopting a new social app into your daily screen time are it’s purpose and value, it’s user experience, and it’s privacy and security. For purpose and value, the app must align with my interest and needs; one thing to ask is does this social app achieve a certain goal? Whether it’s to communicate with others, or provide entertainment, how can the app be relevant to me? For user experience and interface, I must consider if the app is easy to navigate and well designed. For privacy and security, I must consider how my personal data is handled and if there are any protection against unauthorized access.
