What is the best thrifting platform you have used recently and why?

The best thrifting platform that I have used is Poshmark. I like how the platform allows you to search for specific brands as well as categories. Additionally, I find that it is just as easy to sell on the platform as it is to buy. I have posted before and received responses. Finally, I enjoy being able to save pieces that I want to revisit later. I'm a huge window-shopper, so this allows me to engage on the app without committing to a purchase just yet.

What research process would you use to evaluate competitors in the influencer space?

To evaluate competitors in the influencer space, I would collect a large amount of data through influencer accounts on social media. I would then organize this data and create graphs in order to compare the information. Such graphs would probably use quadrants to compare different elements at once, such as follower account and engagement. Complex statistical analysis would probably be unnecessary, but averages and ranges may be calculated to understand the wider market. Overall, it would be most important to organize this information in a constructive way, using something like Excel and a write-up of findings.

What is a brand that could improve their social media presence and how would you recommend they improve it?

Tanologist is a self tan line made by influencer Lottie Tomlinson. The brand account gets inconsistent likes and low comments, despite having almost 160k followers. The feed is a wide mix of slide posts, videos, reels, infographics and stories. The account could be improved with more consistency to create a strong aesthetic on the feed. The infographics are strong, highlighting the unique attributes of the product while also creating a strong brand with color palettes and language. The account should use a casual, girly voice to match the founder and appeal to young girls who are into beauty. Finally, I think the brand's TikToks should not be posted to the Instagram. On Instagram, the TikToks look like overt attempts at advertising and throw off the branding on the feed.
