I’d just run them as short posts with consistent formatting, track metrics like watch time, shares, and comments, and then compare performance.
I’d use A/B testing to isolate variables (hook style, sound choice, caption length, etc) and iterate based on what resonates.

What kind of content hooks do you think perform best on TikTok right now?
The best performing TikTok hooks right now are curiosity-driven and outcome-focused.
For example, opening with a surprising fact (‘80% of people do this wrong…’) or a bold statement (‘Everything you know about X is wrong’) grabs attention in under 3 seconds.
I’d also use problem-solution hooks (‘Struggling with Y? Here’s the fix’) because they’re relatable and promise quick value. These styles drive retention, which TikTok’s algorithm definitely rewards.
