I feel like making personal connections with anyone involves finding a common interest. For this instance, I would find ways to build the relationships with the foundation of our common interest being yoga. For example, finding jokes and comfortable small talk for both of us to participate in.

For only one specific reason I would argue that Justin Beiber is a good representation of mischievous play. The recent media-spurred drama between his wife, Hailey Bieber formally Baldwin, and his ex girlfriend, Selina Gomez, proved many social standards surrounding situations as such. To clarify, the drama was stirred because of some people of the internet who accused Hailey Beiber of ‘copying’ and ‘bullying’ Selina Gomez. It’s not up to me to decide if she did or not but what angered me the most of what I was witnessing on TikTok was that Justin Beiber was not speaking up at all. The drama recently ended because Gomez posted telling her fans to stop the hate towards H. Beiber. Justin Beiber did nothing of the sort. He let the drama and bullying towards his wife unfold without publicly speaking on it, even though he indirectly started it all. The media has portrayed J. Beiber to be a “bad boyfriend” to both Gomez and H. Beiber but it was always portrayed to be their fault rather than his. “Justin doesn’t like Haley anymore because she’s annoying.” Not once have I heard the blame being put on him nor him taking accountability for the media once again putting women against each other because of a man.

As a teenager from Vancouver, I am intrigued to the minds of my peers. I would investigate how our passions are created and sustained with the new age of technology. I’m interested to further my knowledge on how people don’t age develop strong loyalties to their passion, such as high school basketball and why it’s such a common event compared to any other sport.
