Interview Questions

Purple Drop

Campus Brand Ambassador for Purple Drop

How would you authentically represent a brand to a student who comes from a background very different from yours?

i would listen to what the student has to say about what drinks and flavors they like, what they're open to trying and find a way to connect through that. I would talk about how I experience the drink and let them try the drink as well. I don't want to impose the culture on them especially when it's not my own culture, but because I am from a different background I can use that point to connect with the student as well, so they can see that even though I am not from the same culture as the drink I still enjoy it.

What social media platform do you think best engages college students, and why?

For my particular campus, many clubs are active on Instagram, and it is where most of the promotion for club events or socials occur. Instagram allows for both flyers and longer descriptions in the captions and short form videos.

How would you creatively promote Purple Drop on campus?

I can work alongside other clubs/organizations on campus to create a popup event that attracts students. Promoting this as a fun refresher station for students to cool down from the hot weather in August (when classes resume) would garner attention. It is also a fun welcome event for students returning to campus and new students.
