How would you make matcha feel fresh and exciting to a Gen Z audience without leaning on overdone aesthetics?
Recently, Gen Z doesn't seem to be buying products but rather the stories created around each product. So instead of selling matcha, I'd sell the world around it. This might look like touching on cinematic origin storytelling, like a specific harvest season, a regional ritual, or a poetic cultural detail tied to the brand. On top of this, I would pair it with matching sensory elements like a playlist, a texture, a season and suddenly a universe is created that people want to live in, not just a drink they want to try.

What type of short-form content performs best on TikTok in your opinion?
I think short-form content that has a unique and unforgettable hook/branding is what makes a video pop on TikTok. From my experience, this could look like anything from satisfying process videos to unexpected recipes like matcha tiramisu. Unique value paired with attention-grabbing hooks and ideas seem to be the content that people enjoy and look for most!
