What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?
My video creation process starts with identifying the message or story I want to share and who it’s for. I look for inspiration by exploring trending content on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, paying close attention to popular sounds, challenges, and visual styles. I also draw inspiration from my own experiences and the lifestyle topics that resonate with my audience, such as wellness, confidence, and everyday college life. Once I have an idea, I storyboard the key scenes or shots to keep the video focused and engaging. Then I film with attention to lighting, framing, and authenticity aiming for a natural yet polished look. After filming, I edit the clips to match the rhythm of the audio, add captions or effects if needed, and make sure the final video aligns with my personal style and the platform’s best practices. Throughout, I experiment with new formats and trends to keep my content fresh and relevant.

One piece of content I created that received more engagement than usual was a TikTok where I combined a popular audio trend with a relatable story about managing self care while balancing a busy college schedule. I paired the audio with quick clips from my daily routine, including moments of studying, healthy snacks, and skincare. I believe the content was successful because it was authentic and highly relatable to my audience, who are mostly students and young adults facing similar challenges. The use of trending audio helped it reach a wider audience, while the storytelling aspect encouraged viewers to comment and share their own experiences. Additionally, I engaged with commenters promptly, which boosted the post’s visibility and fostered a sense of community.
