As a nursing student, it is important to consider the needs of each patient and remember their preferences when performing cares for them. When I was working in the nursing home, I had several patients who each had different preferences on how they wanted to get ready in the morning and what foods they wanted for breakfast. It is important to me to be able to remember all of those small details in order to make patients the most comfortable and acknowledged in a place that may be unfamiliar to them.
