Interview Questions
Yerba Madre
Yerba Madre Brand Ambassador

what are ideas you have for a yerba madre branded event?
A few of the event ideas I’m most excited about build directly on my experience as a food content creator and brand ambassador. Through creating short-form food content, I’ve worked with local restaurants to showcase their menus in an engaging way and have seen how the right angles, hooks, and audio can drive real traffic and interest. As a Brand Outreach Ambassador for The WALK Magazine, I also have experience coordinating with brands, planning collaborations, and translating in-person moments into content that feels authentic to students on campus.
Here are a few of my ideas:
-Set up a “Study With Yerba Madre” table in a high-traffic study spot during midterms or finals, offering free cans as a better caffeine option.
-Partner with a popular off-campus café or fast casual spot to host a “Yerba Madre Happy Hour,” where students get a free or discounted can with a purchase.
-Coordinate mini “Yerba Drops” at club meetings or Greek chapter events, where you briefly introduce the brand, hand out cans, and snap group photos or quick UGC clips.

GoodBite
Campus Ambassador for GoodBite

This role includes reaching out to local restaurants and student leaders. How would you handle that outreach each week?
Being a food content creator directly supports this role because it means already spending time discovering local restaurants, understanding what students like to eat, and knowing how to present those spots in a way that grabs attention. Creating short-form content has built a sense of what types of videos, captions, and hooks perform well, which would translate into engaging posts and on-campus moments that make students curious enough to try GoodBite and support a cause while they order.
