Learning to do my braids myself while living in Hong Kong alone with no hairdresser to do my hair. It allowed people to empathise with my situation as well as be inspired to learn how to braid their own hair. I let them follow on my journey from sourcing the braiding extensions to staying up all night to the final aftermath.
