If a texting app could auto translate would it be enough for you to switch?
Most certainly, I have many friends from Europe and Brazil, and sometimes they have interesting word choices since English is their second language. If an app was able to fully translate their meaning from their original, yes I most certainly will be using it.

Can you share a funny or awkward translation moment you've experienced?
Once I was out with my friends and my parents checked up on me, asking me 我在干啥？"What are you doing?" I didn't feel like changing from the English keyboard to Chinese so I just responded with "I am chilling with my friends". My mom doesn't know English that well so she uses her translate feature in WeChat, which translated chilling to catching a cold 着凉. So my mom started to get on me for not wearing enough layers and it took me nearly 20 minutes to explain what "chilling" with someone means.
