have you ever built something on your own? depop shop, small business, etc.
In high school, I founded our yearbook and took on the roles of lead editor and graphic designer. This involved starting the project from scratch, collaborating with peers and teachers, and overseeing everything from layout design to final production. I was responsible for creating a visually cohesive and meaningful product that captured the essence of our school year. It taught me the importance of initiative, creativity, and seeing a project through to completion.

What's a time you had to be super detail-oriented?
One time I had to be super detail-oriented was in my role as Marketing Manager at ASALH. I was responsible for creating and managing campaigns that aligned with the organization’s mission. This required me to pay close attention to every detail—from ensuring the messaging was accurate and impactful to maintaining consistent branding across all materials. I also analyzed data to track campaign effectiveness, proofread content to eliminate errors, and coordinated with multiple stakeholders to meet tight deadlines. Being meticulous was essential to ensure everything ran smoothly and reflected the organization’s high standards.
