What do you think should change with the current state of social media?
Wow. This is a big one - a lot! The first thing that comes to mind is the role of creators and/or influencers. I think there needs to be a massive shift away from influencer marketing and toward brands establishing long term partnerships with creators. In this scenario, there would be no more cut and paste ads on Instagram that read off generic information for product placements. Instead, creators would work inside the brand alongside employees to brainstorm content that is in line with brand values and the creator's audience at large. This would transform social media because there would be more transparency, authenticity, and overall higher quality content in feed.
