Influencer Strategy
What is the most creative gifting initiative you've seen a brand execute?
As someone that is obsessed with TikTok and TikTok creators, the most recent and interesting gifting initiative I have seen recently, is Crocs sending Tara Lynn their Margaritaville collab. It is probably the most random collab I have ever seen, but their social strategy team is clearly paying attention to the type of audience they want to appeal too. The accessories for the Margaritaville x Crocs collab are very big and bold and down right silly, so they know that gifting it to an influencer who does things for the irony of it, is genius. It even made me want to buy the collab. The package itself was very cute and cheeky, and they knew that this type of product would appeal to her audience.

When you were in high school what app, product, or service became popular and what do you think made it so successful?
Quizlet was HUGE when I was in high school. I believe it was successful because it was 1. very much needed and 2. it catered to the high schooler's mind. The UI was practical and satisfying, and the design catered to the high schooler's mind.

How can a brand differentiate themselves in the market across their competitors, and what is a brand that does this well today?
Focus on creating a community rather than "selling" your product. People want to be a part of a lifestyle, and when you successfully create a brand that makes them feel included, they will stay loyal to your products. Dyson is a brand that has successfully created a sense of FOMO to people that don't have their products, virality across platforms like TikTok has cultivated an entire community around a hair dryer!
