Describe a time you took a leadership role in your community.
I tend to only take leadership roles when no one is willing—which turns out to be a lot of the time. Most recent example was a group science project, where we were told to make an educational video. I quickly found out the various tasks needed to be done (such as research, writing, editing, etecetera), had a group discussion as to who could complete them, then assigned those tasks and their deadlines. Although the group encounted challenges with motivation and lack of direction early on, we eventually fostered a positive environment where we were able to voice any difficulties and overcome them as a team. In the end, we submitted a well-executed video (well-executed for students who have no expertise in the field) without exceeding our deadline.
