How would you create a short video that highlights a new feature and attracts user engagement?

As a film major, I’d create a short reel-film that blends story, friendship, and visually striking effects- all made using CapCut’s newest, easy-to-use features. The project would star my friends as collaborators, not just talent, showing how filmmaking becomes more fun, more social, and more creative when the tools stop getting in the way. The reel wouldn’t just showcase cool effects- it would show how those effects bring people closer. Faster edits. Cleaner transitions. Big cinematic moments without a big learning curve. By documenting the process and the final result, I’d engage my nearly 3,000 followers (primarily UC Berkeley and East Coast filmmakers, 80% of whom are collaborators themselves) and demonstrate that if my friends and I can make something cinematic together, they can too.
