what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?

A creative way I would lead sampling efforts is by turning ColourPop product trials into interactive group experiences rather than traditional handouts. I am actively involved in Kappa Kappa Gamma at Indiana University Bloomington, where I serve as Vice President of Internal Affairs and oversee sisterhood events. This role gives me the opportunity to host ColourPop focused events where members can try products together, share their favorites, and experiment with different looks in a relaxed and social setting. These events would also be documented through authentic social content, highlighting how ColourPop Cosmetics brings together people with different styles and levels of makeup experience while making beauty easy, trend driven, and affordable. In addition, I am on the marketing committee for Women & Co, a female only business organization within the Kelley School of Business. In this setting, I would incorporate ColourPop into educational events by distributing products and challenging members to create their own advertisements or social content, allowing participants to engage with the products in a hands-on and memorable way. Off campus, I would extend sampling into everyday social settings where people naturally get ready together, such as apartment hangouts and post workout routines after fitness classes. Additionally there are upcoming weekend city trips planned as well as spring break, where I will be able to bring ColourPop products and encourage people to try them out. In these settings, ColourPop products would be shared among friends, allowing everyone to try different shades and formulas, compare favorites, and incorporate the products into their routines in real time.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?

I would engage my audience by incorporating ColourPop Cosmetics products into the everyday content I already share as a college student. Instead of creating overly staged posts, I would show how ColourPop fits into real routines and social moments that my audience regularly engages with. This would include Day in My Life TikToks where ColourPop products appear as part of my morning or getting ready routine, as well as GRWM and fun lip sync TikToks where I clearly credit the ColourPop products and shades I am wearing. I would also share content from events or group activities, expanded upon in the next question, that show people using ColourPop together and highlight how the products work across different styles and occasions. To maintain visibility, I would use Instagram stories to feature ColourPop products in their packaging or as part of my routine, keeping the brand present without feeling forced. Because my audience follows me for relatable, real life content, featuring ColourPop in these moments encourages interest and product trial. Overall, this approach allows me to engage my audience while reinforcing ColourPop’s identity as fun, easy, and accessible beauty.

what do you love about colourpop?

What I love most about ColourPop is the high-quality products at an affordable price, which allows young adults like myself to experiment with new looks while feeling confident and creative. Ever since sixth grade, when I first received ColourPop’s Super Shock Shadow, the brand has been a staple in my makeup routine. At the time, it was perfect because I was still learning how to do my own makeup. Now, it continues to save me during busy college days and nights, giving me a fun pop of color without the time commitment or high cost of traditional beauty products. My appreciation for ColourPop has grown through its fast-moving, trend-driven launches, including hydrating lip glosses, liquid blush, and bronzing drops, all staples in my easy, affordable daily routine. I love how ColourPop makes beauty feel accessible, inclusive, and fun, encouraging self-expression rather than perfection. It’s a brand I genuinely use, talk about, and recommend, which makes representing ColourPop feel natural and authentic to me.
