In a given week, your responsibilities range from updating financial models, to scheduling with external partners, to tracking inventory movement, to prepping decks for a marketing meeting. How do you prioritize and execute when everything is urgent?
When everything’s urgent, I’ve learned it’s all about staying organized and realistic with my time. I start by listing out everything on my plate—from work tasks to personal commitments—then I prioritize based on deadlines and impact. I use a mix of digital tools and old-school to-do lists to keep things straight. Blocking time for deep work helps me focus, and I build in buffers for last-minute changes.

Tell us about a time when maintaining accurate data was crucial to your role. How did you ensure the data stayed clean, up to date, and aligned across systems or teams?
At Boeing, I was part of a team that relied heavily on accurate financial data to make decisions. One of my key tasks involved tracking inputs used in forecasting models, and even small errors could lead to big reporting issues. To keep things clean, I got into the habit of regularly cross-checking data between systems and using built-in Excel tools to catch duplicates or miss entries. I made sure updates were logged in AuditBoard so there was always a clear record of what changed and why.

Walk us through a time when you built or managed a complex spreadsheet system to track operational or financial data.
During my corporate audit internship at Boeing, I built a detailed Excel tracker to reconcile data between two key forecasting tools. I used formulas like INDEX-MATCH and pivot tables to match inputs and flag any mismatches, then logged everything in AuditBoard for transparency and tracking. It helped the team catch errors early and made our reporting process way smoother. This project really sharpened my skills working with financial data and gave me a solid foundation in using spreadsheets to keep things running efficiently.
