How would you create content to engage and grow on social media, by appealing to both environmental causes and typical skincare routines?
Creating content that appeals to both environmental causes and typical skincare routines involves a balance between educating and inspiring my audience.
Educational Content:
- Environmental Impact of Skincare: Share informative content about the environmental impact of traditional skincare products. Highlight issues such as plastic waste, harmful ingredients, and the carbon footprint of certain beauty practices
- Eco-friendly Alternatives: Introduce my audience to eco-friendly skincare alternatives, such as products with sustainable packaging, cruelty-free formulations, and minimal environmental impact.
Storytelling:
- Behind-the-Scenes: Take my audience behind the scenes of my product creation, emphasizing sustainable and ethical practices.
How-To Guides:
- DIY Skincare Recipes: Share easy-to-follow DIY skincare recipes using natural, locally sourced ingredients. Emphasize the simplicity and effectiveness of incorporating these recipes into a daily routine.
- Zero-Waste Tips: Provide practical tips for reducing waste in skincare, such as using reusable containers, choosing products with refill options, or repurposing packaging.
Challenges and Campaigns:
- **Sustainability Challenges:** Launch social media challenges that encourage my audience to adopt sustainable skincare practices. For example, a "30 Days of Sustainable Skincare" challenge could involve small daily actions to reduce environmental impact.
Visual Appeal:
- Aesthetic Product Shots: Showcase my products in visually appealing, eco-friendly settings. Use natural elements, sustainable props, or minimalist backgrounds to convey a sense of environmental consciousness.
In your mind, which brands are hot on TikTok right now, and why?
Although Alix Earle isn't a company, her own brand and now podcast seem to be thriving on tik tok. I think the reason for this is because she is able to be engaging with the audience through a way where she is able to relate to just a normal viewer. Although her life seems to be pretty extravagant, she is still able to come off as a normal person which I think sets her apart from other brands.
