I follow industry leaders, trend forecasters, and creators who are often early adopters, which helps me spot shifts in content styles, audio trends, and platform features. I also keep an eye on platforms like TikTok’s Creative Center and Instagram’s @creators page, and I regularly check newsletters like Future Social and Social Media Today for deeper insights and algorithm updates. When I see a trend starting to gain traction, I think about how it can be adapted to fit a brand’s voice rather than just copying it. For me, staying current is about both observing and experimenting—trying out trends in real time is the best way to learn what resonates.
