what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
I would create a “Swatch + Snap Pop-Up” sampling experience. On campus, I’d set up small tables in high-traffic spots (student union, dorm lobbies, game days) where students can test shades, grab sample cards, and take photos at a cute mini-photo station. Everyone who tries a sample would scan a QR code to follow the brand, enter a giveaway, or get a discount — turning sampling into community building, not just free product. Off campus, I’d partner with local coffee shops, salons, and student-run events to drop “sample stations” with little cards that include: a sample, a QR code, and a short blurb about the product. I’d also document the whole process on social media — asking people what shade they picked and sharing their reactions — so the sampling continues online and reaches even more people.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
To promote ColourPop products, I’d focus on creating fun, authentic content that feels like a conversation instead of an ad. I’d share GRWM videos, product try-ons, and honest first impressions so my audience can actually see how the products look and perform on real skin. I’d also mix in interactive content — polls, Q&As, shade comparisons, and “you choose my makeup” videos — so people feel involved. I’d highlight affordability and inclusivity by showing how ColourPop fits different makeup styles and budgets, and I’d always tie products back to real-life moments (school, nights out, self-care days, etc.). Finally, I’d encourage engagement by asking viewers to comment their favorite shades, recreate looks, or tag me when they try something — building a community around the brand, not just a post.

what do you love about colourpop?
I love ColourPop because it’s fun, affordable, and always on trend without sacrificing quality. The brand feels creative and playful, with shades that work for so many different skin tones, and I love how often they release new collections that keep things fresh. Plus, they’re cruelty-free — which makes me feel good about supporting them.
