Interview Questions

Content Creator for Men's Skincare

Walk us through your process for creating a 30-second Reel — from concept to final edit. What’s your typical turnaround time?
Concept and hook: I start with the product and the goal, then lock the hook first, because the first 3 seconds decide everything. I'll usually have a couple of hook angles ready to test.Quick script: I map out the flow loosely so it stays natural and not scripted-sounding, just enough structure to hit the key points.Film: I shoot on my phone for that authentic UGC feel, grab a few takes plus some product b-roll so I've got options in the edit.Edit: tight cuts to keep it moving, captions, the hook on screen, and a trending or clean sound. I cut anything that drags so every second earns its place.Review and deliver: I send it over and tweak from there if anything needs adjusting.Turnaround is usually 3 to 5 days for a single video, and quicker per video on a batch since I film them all in one session.

Why are you interested in working with ATWATER specifically, and what would you bring to a men’s skincare brand?
I'm drawn to ATWATER because it's actually solving a real problem. Most guys find skincare confusing or a bit awkward, and ATWATER strips that away with clean, simple routines and a no-pressure vibe. That mission of making skincare feel normal for men is exactly the kind of brand I want to make content for. And coming from Chris Salgardo with his Kiehl's background, you can tell it's built properly, not just another label. What I'd bring is simple: I'm literally your audience. I'm a young guy who can talk about skincare in a way that feels real and relatable, not preachy or overly polished. Skincare UGC is mostly women, so a genuine male voice stands out straight away. I make authentic, phone-style content that makes other guys think "oh, I could actually do this" instead of feeling sold to, and that's what turns a scroll into a customer

Can you share your handle and a few examples of product content you’ve created?
Sure! Here's where you can see my work:TikTok: @cayden.coopsInstagram: @caydencoopsMy content is mostly short-form video where I'm on camera talking straight to the audience, which is the exact style that works for product UGC. A few of my recent videos have hit 70k to 220k views, so I know how to make content people actually stop and watch. I'm building out my product-specific portfolio right now, and happy to film a quick sample for any product so you can see exactly how I'd showcase it.
