One of my most memorable experiences on Snapchat was when I studied abroad and was able to use the Snap Map + Memories feature to document everywhere I went. It was such a fun and easy way to keep track of my travels—I’d take quick snaps in each city, whether it was a cute café in Florence, a beach in Cinque Terre, or just me running late for a train (classic). Later, I could look back and literally see where I’d been on the map, which made the whole trip feel even more real. What made it extra special was being able to share those snaps with my family and friends back home in real time. They got to follow along with my adventures without me needing to send a million updates. And now, every time I go into Snapchat Memories and tap the map, I get a mini travel diary of my study abroad experience—it’s honestly one of my favorite things ever.
