How would you talk to other students about sensitive topics like money habits?
Conversations on this topic must hold two standards. First, they only go as far as the student wishes for them to. This includes no asking of presumptuous questions and allowing the student to work through theor own experiences. Additionally, I would act with a consistent element of understanding. In hearing a money habit very different from my own, I would not remark about this difference immediately but instead seek to learn more.

what do you think brands get wrong about engaging with students?
Oftentimes, brand speak with an amount of authority that students can find presumptuous. That is, brands will take a stance of "we know what it best, now listen and use our service." By engaging in person with students, a brand ambassador is able to truly hear and understand what a student is feeling, thus getting to the roots of their motivation and how the service could actually help.

How would you engage a student passing by a tabling event to stop and learn more?
First, I would ensure I am set up in a proper location like the BGSU Student Union or Oval by the letters (high traffic). I would utilize my communication and public speaking abilities to invite passing students in a welcoming manner to engage with the table. I have experience doing this with club leadership and tabling for events such as campus fest as well as with individual reachout programs such as evangelism reach-out with my campus church. Throughout these experiences, I understand that speaking confidently and keeping conversation excited and lighthearted is a great entrance into a potentially longer conversation with students.
