Being comforting in the truth of the Gospel, as opposed to just telling people to repent or go to hell. To people new in the faith, they’re not going to understand things that come with spiritual maturity such as sanctification or being a daily sacrifice. When it comes to new believers, it’s about meeting them where they’re at. Telling them about the Gospel and what it truly means for Jesus to have died for our sins. Once those seeds are planted, the Lord will grow in the new believers through His spirit.
